How we do business
Pricing We have never raised our prices for existing customers. All taxes are included in our prices in every region. No fees for domain transfers or renewals. We'll refund you in full if you cancel within 14 days of subscribing.
Ownership We respect your work and copyright. The only rights you grant to us are those needed to provide our service and consent to use screenshots of your portfolio/profile on our website and social media.
Privacy We respect your privacy and data rights. We don't utilise remarketing or share your data with advertisers. We use privacy-friendly analytics and extend EU GDPR rights to our users globally.
Environment Journo Portfolio only uses servers in data centres that are powered entirely by renewable energy.
Customer Support Easily chat or email with our UK-based team whenever you need help. We'll go above and beyond to help you build your portfolio site, import your work or connect your domain name.

Can I cancel at anytime?
Yes, you can cancel anytime yourself under "Account". Or if you prefer just email us at support@journoportfolio.com
Can I upgrade/downgrade if I change my mind?
Yes you can upgrade or downgrade between Plus and Pro at any time, your next bill will be automatically adjusted pro-rata.
What fees are involved for my domain name?
We don't charge any extra fees for domain renewals, transfers or registrations, these are all included as part of the Pro plan.
Do I need to enter my card to sign up?
No, you can create an account and use the free plan without entering a card.
How does the trial work?
When you sign up you will have access to all the features on the Plus plan for the duration of the 7 day trial. After the trial you will automatically switch to the free plan.
How are payments processed?
Is there a fee to change my domain name?
A Pro plan includes the registration of one domain, if you want to change the domain name after it has been registered we charge you the cost of the new domain registration. This fee varies depending on the domain TLD and we will always confirm this price with you first, the average fee is under $10.
Who owns my domain?
You will own your domain. We register the domain on your behalf so you don't need to worry about renewing it, setting it up or being spammed by nuisance calls (the registrants contact details are public). If you ever want to move away from Journo Portfolio we can transfer it into an account owned by you. We never charge for this.
What is your refund policy?
If you cancel your subscription within 14 days of upgrading, or within 7 days of a renewal payment you can request a refund for the full payment amount (minus $10 if a domain name has been purchased or renewed for you).
What happens to my content if I downgrade to the free plan?
We never delete your content (unless you delete your account). All your work will remain in the editor view but will be hidden from your portfolio as per the free plan.
Are annual discounts available?
Yes! Get the equivalent of 3 months free on Pro and 4.5 months free on Plus with you pay annually. Not sure? You can always switch to annual billing later.
Can I use my own domain?
Of course! Simply upgrade to Pro and enter your own domain when you do so. You can then check a box to specify that you own the domain. Lastly you just need to configure the domain to point at our server.
What currency do you bill in?
We automatically offer our plans in one of 29 billing currencies based on your location to help you avoid any bank fees. If we don't offer your currency you will be billed in GBP or USD.
What form of payments do you accept?
Any card that supports international online payments will work with our card-billing system. You can also choose to pay with PayPal.
Are there any discounts for schools or organisations?
Group, Society and Organisation discounts are available. Contact support@journoportfolio.com to find out more.
